Visiting the chateau kitchen was a memorable experience, filled with warm greetings, lively gatherings, and the joy of family cooking, just as we’ve seen on The Chateau Diaries. It serves as the heart of the home, where people come together throughout the day. Guest dinners are prepared here, and family meals are shared, making it a true hub of activity. Adorned with blue and white china and charming French country décor, the kitchen beautifully reflects the passage of time.

This two-page scrapbook layout was created using the Country Lace DSP, Boho Blue Cardstock, Very Vanilla Cardstock, and Country Woods DSP, carefully chosen to reflect the warm and inviting colors of the chateau kitchen. I wanted the background to echo the blues of the Delft china and the wood grain of the table, bringing the essence of the space into the design.

To frame the pages, I used Boho Blue Cardstock—my favorite color!—which set the perfect foundation. The Thankful Garden Stamp & Die set was my go-to for crafting the hydrangeas and floral, using a mix of CTMH Flamingo, Rosy, and Jade inks, along with Stampin’ Up! Pretty In Pink, Old Olive, Balmy Blue, Boho Blue, and Misty Moonlight. To add a touch of shimmer, I used CTMH shimmer brushes in Periwinkle and Ballerina on some of the flowers.

For the title, I turned to my Cricut, layering “French Kitchen” to add dimension. The eyelet lace detail was crafted using the Creative Memories Border Maker and inking the edges with Stampin’ Up! Misty Moonlight, adding an elegant vintage touch. I also incorporated a Creative Memories 12” x 6” Peek-A-Boo pocket, allowing me to include extra photos while seamlessly extending the background across the layout.

Finally, I completed the page with gold gems from CTMH, bringing just the right amount of sparkle. I truly enjoyed using all these tools and embellishments to bring this layout to life!
