I am starting a new chapter in my career. I have been a scrapbooker for about 24 years, and I love sharing my craft with others. I recently made the decision to become a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator. It’s a whole long story that kind of starts with COVID, believe it or not. Staying home during the time of lockdown got me hooked on YouTube.
I found lots of shows to watch, mostly about chateaus in France and of course DIY shows. Who doesn’t love a good DIY show? Right? Well it led me to search other topics, one of which was scrapbooking. I found a handful of ladies that were super talented and very easy to watch and listen to. Now after 4 years of following them, I decided I needed to get in the game.
YouTube is very intimidating, as you have to put yourself out there and be ready to make changes all the time to keep up. At least I think that is the way it is. I know it is not easy. Creating content, planning a posting schedule, all the technical stuff like videoing, lighting, and sound! Yes, and then you have to speak! Maybe show your face once in a while!
